WHEN TO RUN A 270 VS A 180

LEFT OR RIGHT HAND MOUNT

The 270 XT Awning Mk2 and 270 XT MAX Awning Mk2 are offered in left and right hand versions. Do not rely on driver-side or passenger-side shorthand when ordering. Confirm the physical side of the vehicle where the awning will mount and the direction in which it needs to open.

MOUNTING TO ROOF RACKS AND ROOF BARS

Fitment depends on the rack or bar design, usable mounting length, load limits and hardware specified for the awning. An awning bracket must suit the rack profile and provide secure support. Hardware position and tightening requirements should follow the relevant manufacturer instructions.

Compatibility should not be assumed for platform racks or crossbars. Suitability depends on the dimensions, mounting points and ratings of the complete setup. Existing roof top tents, solar panels and other accessories can also affect available space and load distribution.
