DRAWER SYSTEMS

Drawer systems maximise cargo capacity by stacking storage vertically and keeping heavy items low. MSA, Front Runner and Clearview drawer systems are vehicle-specific, with options for fridge slide tops, false floors above for sleeping platforms, and integrated water tanks.

A loaded drawer system reduces cargo volume slightly but typically improves usable capacity dramatically because items are organised, accessible and stable. FRIDGE SLIDES

A fridge slide turns a 60L fridge from a bend-over-and-rummage into a slide-out-and-tilt operation. Critical for daily access. MSA fridge slides are the workshop standard: locking, tilting, sized to common fridge models.

The slide extends the fridge out for access, the tilt mechanism angles the lid up so it opens past the cargo door. Premium slides include both functions and lock closed when not deployed. The fridge slide eats some volume but locks closed when not deployed, so most owners build around the slide as a permanent fixture.

Roof rack accessories are platform-specific: most are designed for specific rack systems (Front Runner Slimline II, Rhino-Rack, Yakima). Buy accessories that match your rack, otherwise the brackets will not fit.

WHAT A QUALITY DRAWER AND SLIDE INSTALLATION INVOLVES

Most camping accessories are owner-installable on existing rigs (storage boxes, simple brackets, fridge cable caddies). The exceptions are drawer system installs (especially with false floors), fridge slide installs with electrical wiring, and roof rack accessory mounting on rated platforms.

Drawer systems carry significant load when full and unsecured drawers in a rollover are a serious hazard, so professional install matters for safety as well as fit.
