About the Role
Ideally, you will have a proven Sales Background, with 4WD, Offroad, Mechanical or Auto Electrical experience, possess strong sales and administrative skills in a busy environment. We will be looking for enthusiasm, passion, great work ethic, loyalty to our brand and the ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail, which is crucial to this role. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales of our premium 4WD products, accessories & services.
What You'll Be Doing
- Cover all aspects of the sales process in store, by phone and email for a diverse range of customers, including trade clients and automotive dealers.
- Maintain monthly sales targets and profitability.
- Be organised and able to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Generate new and follow up on existing leads.
- Negotiate and close sales.
- Prepare sales, purchase orders and quotes.
- Liaise with the Workshop Supervisor to ensure works are carried out as planned.
- Attend industry shows throughout the year.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to expand product knowledge.
What We're Looking For
- Enthusiasm for the 4WD lifestyle and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in automotive or 4WD sales roles.
- A mechanical or Auto Electrical qualification together with 4WD experience (highly regarded).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with customers.
- Strong knowledge of 4WD systems, suspension setups, and common vehicle modifications, with the ability to educate customers on features and benefits.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills to maintain accurate sales records.
- Ability to work unsupervised with a positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to contribute to overall business success.
