About The Role

Key responsibilities will include

• Conducting routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on all makes and models
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently
• Perform diagnostics using manufacturer-approved tools and systems
• Carrying out servicing, repairs and diagnostics to manufacturer standards
• Conducting vehicle inspections and identifying additional repair opportunities
• Ensure all work is completed within allocated timeframes
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop
• Delivering exceptional workmanship and customer satisfaction

Skills and attributes required

• Certificate III in Mechanical Trade qualification is required or completing a Certificate III in Mechanical Trade qualification for apprentices.
• Have acute attention to detail and take pride in your workmanship.
• Current Manual Victorian Drivers license - mandatory
• Minimum of 2+ years experience with Diesel & Petrol engines.
• Must be passionate about the industry with a genuine interest in motor mechanics.
• Be a problem solver, reliable & able to meet deadlines.
• Must have own tools.
• Clear communicator with excellent organisational skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work unsupervised, and in a team.
• Roadworthy certified an advantage
• Air Conditioning certification an advantage

• Diagnostic, fault finding, installation, and repairs on a range of vehicles
• Design, build and install vehicle Dual Battery Systems
• Prior experience with dual battery systems required
• Install vehicle electrical accessories to a wide range of Offroad, recreational, passenger, and trade vehicles
• Test, troubleshoot & fault find vehicle electrical systems and components

Skills and attributes required

• Trade qualified with Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent certification with 3-5 years experience in the same/similar role
• Must hold Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology only as the required qualification
• Ability to follow OH&S and COVID-19 safety procedures
• Self-starters with the ability to work unsupervised & take pride in their work
• Self-motivated, flexible, and a will to adapt to a variety of work
• Exhibit initiative, drive, and a great sense of humour
• Valid Australian manual driver's licence required
• Must hold a full licence only for the Australian manual driver's licence requirement
• Must have full Australian working rights
• Mechanically astute and competent
• 4WD experience is not required

You will be installing quality turnkey accessories, such as bull bars, suspension, snorkels, winches, canopies, trays, roof racks, lighting and electrical accessories on predominantly new vehicles.

Key responsibilities will include

• Fitting a broad range of automotive aftermarket accessories to offroad, recreational passenger and trade vehicles
• Following all workshop WHS and SOP procedures
• Ability to work to time frames in a fast-paced workshop whilst maintaining a high level of quality workmanship
• Ability to read and follow fitting instructions
• Maintaining a tidy work bay
• Team work is our priority to ensure all work is carried out on time and to our customer's expectations

Skills and attributes required

• Qualification and experience within the automotive industry preferred
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in automotive accessory fitting is required
• Certificate II in automotive field is an advantage
• Be physically fit and able to lift 20kgs or more..
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools
• Current drivers’ license is mandatory
• Strong self-motivated individual with a logical approach to problem-solving
• A genuine work ethic and accountability

About the Role

Ideally, you will have a proven Sales Background, with 4WD, Offroad, Mechanical or Auto Electrical experience, possess strong sales and administrative skills in a busy environment. We will be looking for enthusiasm, passion, great work ethic, loyalty to our brand and the ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail, which is crucial to this role. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales of our premium 4WD products, accessories & services.

What You'll Be Doing

• Cover all aspects of the sales process in store, by phone and email for a diverse range of customers, including trade clients and automotive dealers.
• Maintain monthly sales targets and profitability.
• Be organised and able to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Generate new and follow up on existing leads.
• Negotiate and close sales.
• Prepare sales, purchase orders and quotes.
• Liaise with the Workshop Supervisor to ensure works are carried out as planned.
• Attend industry shows throughout the year.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to expand product knowledge.

What We're Looking For

• Enthusiasm for the 4WD lifestyle and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in automotive or 4WD sales roles.
• A mechanical or Auto Electrical qualification together with 4WD experience (highly regarded).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with customers.
• Strong knowledge of 4WD systems, suspension setups, and common vehicle modifications, with the ability to educate customers on features and benefits.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills to maintain accurate sales records.
• Ability to work unsupervised with a positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to contribute to overall business success.
