It includes RSI Double Cab Smart Canopy options in 1165mm and 1255mm widths, plus canopy and Silverado double load bar kit options.

OCCASIONAL ROOF OR CANOPY LOADS

Roof cross bars suit owners who need mounting points for selected touring equipment but do not need the deck area of a full rack. Plan the bar spacing around the equipment and its approved mounting method.

RSI SMART CANOPY BUILDS

Choose between the listed widths only after confirming the canopy version and mounting dimensions. The product name alone should not replace a physical fitment check.

UNCONFIRMED OR CUSTOM FITMENTS

Do not select a kit by width alone. Roof bar feet, canopy brackets and rail profiles vary. Send us the vehicle and canopy details before ordering or booking.

LOAD BARS VS FULL ROOF RACK

Load bars create separate crosswise mounting points. A full roof rack provides a larger deck for more involved accessory layouts. Bars are generally lighter and suit builds carrying selected items rather than a permanent roof setup.

A staged build can start with roof cross bars and move to a full rack later. Front Runner uses a T-slot accessory format across its bar and Slimline II rack systems, but compatibility must be confirmed for each accessory before an upgrade.

WEIGHT LIMITS AND CENTRE OF GRAVITY

Static and dynamic ratings serve different purposes. The relevant dynamic rating applies while the vehicle is moving and must be checked for the selected bars, vehicle, canopy and mounts. Do not rely on a generic category figure.

Weight carried high on the vehicle changes its centre of gravity and handling. Keep heavier equipment as low and central as the installation permits. For road use, follow the manufacturer’s instructions and check the regulations that apply in your state. Our workshop can review the planned configuration before fitting.

RSI SMART CANOPY FITMENT

The two RSI Double Cab Smart Canopy load bar kit widths in this collection are intended for different fitments. We confirm the canopy version, mounting arrangement and width before quoting. This avoids relying on assumptions about canopy generation or rail spacing.

MOUNTING ACCESSORIES AND TIE-DOWN OPTIONS

Accessory planning should happen before the bars are positioned. Tie-down rings, awning brackets and traction board mounts need usable spacing and must suit the bar system. Their combined load also needs to remain within the applicable rating.

Front Runner’s T-slot format provides a consistent mounting approach, but not every accessory suits every bar position or later rack configuration. We check the planned equipment rather than treating the bars as a universal mounting solution.

FITMENT TO NON-STANDARD CANOPIES

The 1165mm canopy kit may suit applications beyond the named RSI products when compatible mounting hardware is available. We do not assume fitment from canopy width alone. The canopy construction, rail profile and mount face must be assessed before installation. Some configurations may require different brackets or a custom solution.
