KDSS-COMPATIBLE KIT
The Prado 150 application is specifically listed for vehicles with KDSS. Confirm that the vehicle has KDSS before ordering, because this application should not be treated as interchangeable with a standard non-KDSS kit.
WHY ADJUSTABLE BYPASS SHOCKS MATTER
A conventional single-stage shock uses fixed damping. Outback Armour adjustable bypass shocks use multiple damping zones and external clickers, allowing the damping to be changed for the vehicle's current use.
That adjustment matters when the same 4WD handles an unloaded commute, a full touring load, sealed roads, corrugations and off-road impacts. It provides scope to tune the response instead of relying on one fixed setting for every condition. LIFT HEIGHT AND GEOMETRY
An Outback Armour lift kit should be selected around the completed vehicle, not a universal lift or tyre-clearance promise. Final ride height can vary with the application, spring selection, accessories and operating load. Suspension changes can also affect alignment and geometry.
Confirm the target setup before ordering. Tyre clearance, geometry components and any approval requirements need to be assessed for the individual vehicle and the regulations that apply where it will be registered or used.
KDSS-COMPATIBLE KITS
The Toyota Prado 150 uses the Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System, a hydraulic anti-sway system. Outback Armour describes the listed Prado Expedition application as retaining KDSS functionality while changing the suspension and damping setup. Check the vehicle's exact specification before purchase and make sure KDSS is identified on the order and workshop booking.
PAIRING WITH GVM UPGRADES
The Outback Armour Expedition HD kit is used in some certified GVM upgrade programs. That does not mean purchasing or installing the standalone suspension kit creates a certified payload increase. The applicable components, engineering pathway and approval requirements depend on the vehicle and the specific GVM program.
If the completed build may reach or exceed factory GVM, discuss the GVM upgrade pathway before choosing suspension alone. Check the regulations that apply in your state or territory and confirm the proposed setup with the workshop.
